In the year of Diptyque's 60th anniversary celebration, the brand evokes a perfume as an olfactory portrait of a place of memories and encounters in the sixties, recreating a smoky atmosphere of the eponymous night bar named "Orphéon" near the Diptyque boutique at 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain.Described as an intoxicating fragrance, Orphéon by Diptyque has been created with a powdery effect, recalling tobacco smoke, traces of powdery blush and the polished wood of the bar that inspired its creation.The fragrance opens with notes of invigorating juniper berries that recall the vitality of the place, then a light touch of jasmine begins to transport the composition into a warm and deep heart that recreates the atmosphere of that unforgettable place thanks to the well-known warmth of tonka beans and a talcum powder accord.The illustration on the bottle is a reinterpretation of Desmond Knox-Leet's Diptyque motif designed by Gianpaolo Pagni.
