L'Artisan Parfumeur is probably one of the most exclusive perfume creators in the world. The label L'Artisan Parfumeur was founded in Paris in 1976 by Jean Laporte. He wanted to fill the exclusive niche in perfume production, to raise perfume to a luxurious level again. He recognised that the desire for the special, and that applies to then as well as now, and the desire to make things special, is marked.

The creations of L'Artisan are a combination of both classic and avant-garde elements. The maison collaborates with the gifted perfumer Bertrand Durchafour, but other important noses have also developed fragrances for the Parisian house. Olivia Giacobetti caused a revolution with her cowardly fragrance Premier Figuer in the 90s.
